[00:00:10] Hello and welcome back Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Oh My Menses. I'm your host Karinda. I'm a women's health naturopath, hormone lover, and menstrual cycle educator. And today is a quick one. Today is a quick one, and I think I just wanna get straight into it. I was sitting down to write an email. Should I do a cycle check-in?

[00:00:34] Ugh, okay, gotta do-- all right, gotta do a cycle check-in first, because it's the basis of everything that I preach. So I am on cycle day 23 today. Pretty much smack bang on that mid luteal point, and I'm definitely feeling the shift. My energy is more inward, lower, slower, and I'm recovering from a cold or flu or COVID [00:01:00] or a mystery virus.

[00:01:01] Um, so I'm very grateful for my luteal phase, just to help like temper, temper my output. Um, because it can be very easy for me after, uh, a cold or a period of unwellness to like wanna spring back into heaps of creation and heaps of activity and lots of energy output. And that's probably not the best thing for my body right now.

[00:01:28] So it's great that I'm in my luteal phase and it's slowing me down. And I invite you to check in with your own cycle. If you have a menstrual cycle, that's fabulous. If you don't have a menstrual cycle, you can just simply reflect on, you might like to look at the moon phase. You might like to think about the phase of life that you're in.

[00:03:15] And so today's episode, I essentially want to let you know that I believe in you.

[00:03:25] I sat down to write an email for my community, and I was just overwhelmed with this, like, deeply supportive energy that I'm a little bit ashamed to admit I don't always have access to. Um, and I guess the shame part of that comes from, you know, being a women's health naturopath. I'm holding space for women.

[00:03:45] I'm meant to be in this, like, really supportive energy all the time, and I can get caught up in my own thoughts and my own BS. And I was sitting down to write and I just thought, "Do I let these women know, like, how [00:04:00] hard I'm rooting for them, and like how much I believe in them?" And so this is just a little thing, like in case I don't say it enough, in case you don't hear it enough, I hope you've clicked on this podcast at the perfect time, the exact time that you need to hear this.

[00:04:17] No matter what you are going through, I believe in you. I believe in your capacity, your capability, your strength, your unique talents, and your drive to get to the bottom of things and to uncover the truth of things. I believe that no matter what you're currently facing in life, no matter how troublesome the obstacle in front of you seems, you have everything you need to get through it.

[00:04:48] And I trust in the timing of the right answers, the people, places, things, events, and opportunities that are meant for you. I trust that they are making their way to you [00:05:00] in perfect divine timing.

[00:05:03] I see your sensitivity too, and I hope that you know this sensitivity is a gift, not a burden, even though it can feel like a burden.

[00:05:14] And despite your sensitivity, you still have the power and the strength to do exactly what you desire in this life. Your sensitivity is not a weakness. You can let your sensitivity be your superpower.

[00:05:31] The times you fall into beating yourself up, getting harsh on yourself, or believing you're not progressing or evolving or getting better fast enough, know that those thoughts are not the truth.

[00:05:43] You are doing the best you can within your capacity with the tools that you currently have, and equally, your body is doing the best that it can with the tools it currently has. You are exactly where you need to [00:06:00] be in this moment. And that change that you're desiring in your life? You get to catapult that into motion whenever you like.

[00:06:12] You are a fierce, bold, and powerful creatrix. You hold so much power. There's a bird at the window, like, flapping right against the window. You hold so much power, and I know that power can feel overwhelming at times. Trust me, I know. I know. But that power and potential always lives within you. You don't need to wait for external permission to put that power into action.

[00:06:44] You don't need to wait for any sign. You don't need to get any permission slip. You don't need to get any validation from anyone to put what you desire into action, to put your power into action [00:07:00] I hope that, no matter what anyone has told you, be it a family member, a friend, a doctor, a specialist, or any health gurus online, that you are not broken.

[00:07:14] Nothing is wrong with you. You are whole exactly as you are right now. You are worthy of everything you want right now simply because you're here existing, hearing these words right now. And no matter how hard things feel right now, or maybe you're peering into the future and you're anticipating how hard something might be, I want you to remember that you can do hard things.

[00:07:48] You've done it before, and you can do it again. And as much as it might suck to hear, no one guaranteed that life would [00:08:00] be easy.

[00:08:01] That was never a guarantee. So life might feel hard, and you can do hard things. I am rooting for you. The people who truly love you are rooting for you. Mother Nature is rooting for you. Your ancestors, your spirit guides, your higher self, and all the descendants in your lineage to come are rooting for you.

[00:08:28] And Mother Nature, your ancestors, your spirit guides, your higher self? They are literally accessible 24/7. They love to support you. They love to help you. They are here for you whenever you need.

[00:08:47] I truly believe that you've got this. Whatever "this" is for you, please remember, you are a potent, magical powerhouse of a human, [00:09:00] and from the bottom of my heart, my guts, my womb, I believe in you.
